The TEC brand torque converters sold by Online Transmission Parts and included with our remanufactured transmissions are not ordinary torque converters. Every aspect of their remanufacture is carefully monitored by to exceed the standards of all other torque converters available (including new). Each unit is individually checked and tested several times along the assembly process. Tolerances are checked to very high specs . Torque converters are machined and balanced to higher standards than is normal in the industry. Pads are even machined to insure a perfect fit. Even the new parts are checked to high quality standards. This is an HON 16 automatic transmission torque converter used in 4cyl (1.6L, 1.7L, 1.8L, 2.0L, 2.4L) Honda and Acura vehicles with A2YA, A24A, A4RA, B46A, B4RA, BMXA, M24A, M4RA, M4TA, MP7A, MDLA, MDMA, SDMA, SLXA, SP7A transmission codes from 1993-2004 (please inquire for specific applications). This is used in most 4cyl Integra, Civic, CRV, Del Sol from 1993-2004. The converter is 10.5" in diameter with a 10.875" bolt circle and 109 tooth ring gear. The OE converter may have one of the following codes stamped on it: A, AB, B, Y, PLM, P72, 215, 216, F16, J1-LM, J1-PLM, P6T, P56, P72. It is always a good idea to replace your torque converter any time you do work on your transmission (since you can't inspect or repair a torque converter). This converter will add life to your transmission. This torque converter has been completely remanufactured by a technician. The price includes a $60 core deposit charged that will be refunded when we receive your old converter.
