Each unit is individually checked and tested several times along the assembly process. Tolerances are checked to very high specs . Torque converters are machined and balanced to higher standards than is normal in the industry. Pads are even machined to insure a perfect fit. Even the new parts are checked to high quality standards. This is a UT657SLS utility super low stall automatic transmission torque converter used in Dodge truck with the Chrysler Torqueflite 48RE overdrive transmission behind 5.9L Cummins Diesel engine from 2003-up (they also used the 47RE in some 2003 applications, so please inquire for specific applications). This is a lockup converter. It is always a good idea to replace your torque converter any time you do work on your transmission (since you can't inspect or repair a torque converter). This utility converter will add life to your transmission. This torque converter has been completely remanufactured by an technician. It has been programmed for super low stall heavy-duty use and can be installed in place of your stock unit with no modifications whatsoever.
